You often hear “Be a voice for the voiceless.” In fact, Proverbs 31:8-9 tells us to “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.”
But, in reality, the orphans we care for do not need a voice. Not most of them. They have a voice. What they want is for more people to hear their stories. They need opportunities to have people carry their cries further than they can. Which is why we are looking for churches and ministry groups who want to hear their stories. The issues they are facing. Orphans. Widows. Mothers who want to give birth safely. Students who want to learn. Children who want to be healthy. Men and women who yearn for peace, tenaciously holding onto hope despite the daily realities that would seek to stomp out such faith.
Are you interested in hearing their stories?
An Orphan’s Voice Event is an opportunity to hear the stories of those we care about, to learn about them and to give them a voice. If your church, small group, life group, social group, etc. is looking for a missions speaker, or someone to share the biblical basis of how we, the church, are called to care for the widow and orphan, we would love the opportunity to come and share with you the vision God has placed on our hearts.
